Unlabelled aromatic extender oil
Responding to the trends towards protecting health and the environment, Repsol has developed a range of unlabelled aromatic oils with low toxicity and correspond to the acronyms TDAE (treated distillates aromatic extract), MES (medium extract solvent) and RAE (residual aromatic extract), thereby addressing the need for new products that are in great demand in the tire market.
Repsol currently has a process for obtaining low-toxicity unlabelled aromatic extracts, which maintain the aromaticity required for compatibility with polar rubbers but also meet European legislation regarding product labelling criteria.
