Preparation and awareness play a key role

With the belief that training is the first step to ensure respect for human rights in all areas. We not only teach our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct to internal Company employees, but also ensure it is respected by our suppliers and contractors. This way

• We help establish strong, long-lasting relationships with communities based on trust, mutual respect, and shared values.
• We ensure the safety of our staff, contractors, and neighbours, inside and outside our premises.
• We support training in human rights, which we believe is essential for ensuring that external security staff comply with the national and international laws in force. Training helps to prevent arbitrary or discriminatory behavior that results in physical or moral violence against people.
• We design internal training plans to instill knowledge about human rights in the private security teams, and we give them the tools they need to carry out the plans. These training sessions cover topics such as the constitutional principles that uphold the rule of law, the importance that each individual fulfills their responsibilities, regulations about forced labor and coercion, child labor, discrimination, and constitutional rights, such as the right of assembly or the freedom of association.
