We presented Shyne (Spanish Hydrogen Network), Spain's largest multi-sectoral consortium aimed at promoting renewable hydrogen that has been born to drive the decarbonization of the economy through this energy of the future.

What is Shyne?
Shyine is a consortium comprising 33 entities from different sectors aimed at promoting renewable hydrogen projects in all areas of the Spanish economy and driving decarbonization through this energy vector, which is key in the energy transition.
SHYNE aspires to become a leading project that's aligned with the objectives set out by the European Union as well as the Spanish government through the hydrogen roadmap.
The overarching goals of the consortium are:
- Promote renewable hydrogen and synthetic fuel production operations
- Install 500 MW of hydrogen production in 2025 and 2 GW of hydrogen production in 2030
- Build an ecosystem that connects major regional initiatives related to hydrogen already underway such as the Basque Hydrogen Corridor (BH2C), the Hydrogen Valley of Catalonia, and the Hydrogen Valley of the Region of Murcia
- Create two new innovation hubs, whose objective will be the development of competitive technologies that are still in the pipeline such as photoelectrocatalysis
