Repsol in Chile

In July 2020, Repsol signed an agreement with Grupo Ibereólica Renovables. The project portfolio in Chile of the joint venture between Repsol and Grupo Ibereólica Renovables has a joint portfolio of assets in operation, under construction, or in advanced development of more than 1.2 GW, with a commercial operation date until 2025 and with the possibility to exceed 2.6 GW by 2030.

This partnership in Chile has a diversified asset portfolio, of wind energy and solar energy, and currently operates 50% of the Cabo Leones III wind farm, of 192.5 MW, and Atacama wind farm, of 165.3 MW, and the first phase of the Elena photovoltaic plant, with 76.8 MW of installed capacity.

Repsol is also already developing the Antofagasta wind farm in the country, whose first phase will have 364 MW.
